Pierian Spring Academy is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization offering academic-quality adult courses taught by highly qualified retired academicians and other recognized experts. Our faculty members also present free public lectures in the fall and summer. The courses we offer cover a variety of topics in Art, Architecture, Science, Literature, Language, History, Government, Human Body/Mind, Music, Theatre, and more.

Stimulating Courses and Free Lectures
for Sarasota/Manatee Adults

Fall lectures by our distinguished faculty, free and open to the public, will be presented at Plymouth Harbor on 8 consecutive Tuesday afternoons, beginning October 18th.
Nearly 90 courses, varying in length from 4 to 12 weeks, will be available in our Fall, Winter and Spring semesters. Over 70% are brand new!
Also new this year: A one day symposium on improving the adult mind. Scheduled for March 2012.
Four convenient venues: Argosy University, Senior Friendship Center, Plymouth Harbor, and Eckerd College. Class scheduling permits travel between campuses.
Low tuition rates, as always. Scholarship aid available for qualified individuals
No membership or parking fees

Pierian Spring's mission is to bring together people like you, who seek intellectual challenge and stimulating discussion, together with our faculty members, who possess specialized knowledge and teaching experience. Last year was a record-breaking one for our growing organization, with many students enjoying multiple courses.
