"One Size Does Not Fit All"

I'm sure you have heard this aphorism many times but for us at the Academy it is more than just an overused saying. We recognize our success in bringing together eager learners with passionate faculty is dependent on our ability to fashion new courses and lectures at convenient and accessible locations. I am hopeful the program for 2007-2008 meets this challenge.

We are meeting this challenge by the following ways:

* Establishing a two-campus plan at G.WIZ and Argosy University

This will permit meeting the driving needs of participants from different geographical areas of Sarasota County at the same time.

* Adding a number of new and additional courses under the leadership of our new Dean of the Faculty Stan Nikkel

More and varied courses simply mean more favorable choices. Dean Nikkel has brought to the recruitment process new energy and contacts that should bode well for individual choice making.

* Offering courses in our Winter Session of varying lengths (6, 8, 10, & 12 weeks)

More courses of varying lengths of time should provide an opportunity to fit a PSA learning opportunity into a busy schedule.

* Continuing to offer four-week courses in the Fall Session (October, 2007)

This successful program is worth repeating and it will also be offered at two locations as well.

* Continuing our Fall Lecture Series (October 2 - December 18, 2007)

These free and open to the public lectures by PSA faculty members have proved very popular and Selby Library offers a convenient downtown location.

I hope you share with me our enthusiasm of being able to offer fine quality courses at a reasonable tuition in facilities worthy of our classes. Hope to see y'all soon.
